Weiss: Albert Weiss started his designer career with the Corocraft company in the 1930’s. He founded his own company “Albert Weiss” in 1942.

Miriam Haskell: Miriam Haskell was born in Indiana in 1899. With $500 to her name, she started a jewelry botique in New York City in 1926. With her creative partner Frank Hess she put out affordable jewelry from the 1920s - 1960s. they gained celebrity clientele including Joan Crawford, Lucille Ball and the Duchess of Windsor.

Schreiner New York: Henry Schreiner (1898-1954), Germany, immigrated to the U.S. in 1923. He opened the Schreiner Jewelry Co. in New York City, in 1932. His daughter and her husband joined the business in 1951. After Henry, they continued to produce Schreiner jewelry using the original molds. The firm prospered in the 1950's-1960's supplying top American fashion houses and were scene on the front cover of Vogue more than once
